IPhone Tidbits: Day 4

By: Mike Boland 14 July 2008

While there were many well-documented incidents of crashing servers and glitches in getting 3G iPhones activated over the past few days, Apple announced today that it has already sold 1 million of the new devices.

I’ve been having my own set of issues getting the iPhone 2.0 software running on my first generation iPhone, and many of the LBS apps I downloaded will crash upon opening them. Apple will get it right though, and I expect software patches and other improvements over the coming days and weeks.

Stay tuned for more thorough reviews of some of the mobile local search apps. In the meantime, for a little Monday levity, check out this parody of the new iPhone from Talk Soup.
