Kudzu Adds Facebook Connect; More Integration With Cox Sites

By: Peter Krasilovsky 9 March 2009

Cox’s Kudzu, a local service rating and review directory, announced last week that it has implemented Facebook Connect. Users can now share their Kudzu reviews with friends by signing in via their Facebook account. Previously registered Kudzu users can also connect their Kudzu and Facebook profiles.

Kudzu head Tom Bates told us the site continues to drive most of its revenues through its four initial markets: Atlanta, Phoenix, San Diego and Las Vegas. “But since making the site nationwide last year, we have steadily built up consumer reviews and business registration in markets across the country.”

Bates also notes that Kudzu is powering the local directories for all Cox TV’s 15 Web sites, the Cox High Speed Internet service (Cox.net), The Atlanta Journal-Constitution; and the Dayton Daily News. Later this spring, Kudzu will also implement directories for Cox Radio’s 81 Web sites.
